Karla Blanton is a retired CPA, having brought her expertise to several industries including nonprofit work. She is a founding board member since the start of Broken & Hopeful in 2016, and has proven invaluable in her insight, support and experience.

Helen Davenport

Helen Davenport works as the People & Culture Advocate in Human Resources at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She has been a board member since 2019, bringing experience in nonprofit administration, interpersonal communication and people development.

Amy Grimes

Amy Grimes is the backbone of Joel Grimes Photography, acting as office manager, event coordinator, social media manager and many other roles in the company. She has been a board member since 2019, and offers expertise in business development, marketing and financial oversight.

Hannah Morrell

Hannah Morrell is the executive director of Broken & Hopeful, and a pastoral counselor. She started this ministry to respond to the calling of God on her life to work with those who feel broken to find hope in Jesus. She serves as a nonvoting board member.

Andrew Baerg

Andrew Baerg works as a professor of communication, and chair of the Arts and Humanities Division at the University of Houston Victoria. He brings a unique perspective to the board from the field of higher education, and leads with compassion, humility and commitment.
